ARETUM, a leading government contracting company specializing in technology-enabled mission support services, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter II to join our team. As a CAD Drafter II at ARETUM, you will play a critical role in creating detailed technical drawings and plans to support our engineering and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design specifications and develop accurate drawings.
  • Review and revise existing drawings and plans based on project changes or updates.
  • Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information for drawing creation and revision.
  • Maintain and organize CAD files and documentation.
  • Assist in managing drawing workflow and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in drafting, engineering, or related field.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CAD Drafter.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret design specifications and drawings.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
