Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our overhead door installation business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a deep understanding of the overhead door industry, and the ability to lead and inspire a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities: * Operational Leadership:
- Oversee and manage all facets of daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of skilled professionals, including installation crews, project managers, and support staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the smooth execution of overhead door installation projects from planning to completion.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality control measures.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that all installed overhead doors meet or exceed industry standards.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage budgets for operational expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
- Implement cost-control measures without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred), 10-15 experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
- Proven experience in operations management within the overhead door or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the overhead door industry.
