This flexible Gastroenterology assignment in California starts in November 2024 and is ongoing. You will treat adults exclusively in a mixed inpatient/outpatient setting while providing essential coverage.

Practice Details:

• Support staff of 3 MAs, 2 Office staff, and 1 APP
• Average volume of 12-16 patients per shift

Schedule:

• 2 weeks of call and clinic per month
  
  
  
  • 3-4 days per week of procedures 
  
  
• 1:4 call rotation 

Cases and Procedures:

• Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder
• ERCP with PEG, esophageal manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp, and liver biopsy 

Location (California):

• Eureka has beautiful coastal scenery and redwood forests, ideal for outdoor activities
