Monitor real-time data, provide real time interpretation, and execute directional decisions to ensure proper placement of the borehole within specific target window. Model offset data to determine the feasibility of Geosteering within reservoirs and given geological constraints. Recommend best procedure for a successful wellbore/target changes for best overall in-zone percentage. Determine and single critical stratigraphy formation sections through the careful observation of subsurface lithological variances. Calibrate, monitor, and maintain oil and gas detection equipment. Collect, process, analyze, and log formation drill cuttings. Apply geological laboratory techniques to evaluate samples for signs of hydrocarbon saturation.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Physical Science or related field plus 24 months of experience in the job offered and 24 months of experience in geological laboratory techniques for evaluating samples of signs of hydrocarbon saturation and in the creation of graphic log aka Mudlog.

Travel to unanticipated locations based on client needs. However, most work its done in-house and/or remote.
