We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Maintenance Mechanic for our client in Kent, WA. We are looking for someone safety and accuracy driven with a talent for everything mechanical! -Electrical troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving technical problems.
-Specialist in Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.
-Hands on practical test of Electrical, Mechanical, PLC or Refrigeration.
-Follow and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, such as Lock out/Tag out, Confined
Space, Hot Works and Arc Flash at all times
-Answer radio calls
-Assist at all times with keeping the plant running as smooth as possible while working on
PM and maintenance projects
-Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment scheduled through PMC.

Skills & Requirements Position Qualifications:

-Two or more years of technical training or equivalent
-Two years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
-Able to weld steel, stainless steel and sanitary weld helpful. MIG, TIG
-Knowledge of basic tools used in bakery production environment
-Knowledge of drive chains, sprockets, conveyor belt splicing
-Able to read and interpret manuals and technical drawings
-Forklift certification, sit down, standup, aerial, and pallet jack.
-Observance and verbal testing of General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
-Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
-Able to pass level A Maintenance Mechanic skills test

Physical Requirements:

-Able to tolerate dusty and wet conditions and occasional exposure to Zero degree
temperatures
-Medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force
frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
