Acupuncture Assistant Location: US-MD-Windsor Mill - 21244 Jobcode: 29129100 Email Job

The Acupuncture Assistant will assist acupuncturists and other practitioners in the clinic by providing essential support in patient care, administrative tasks, and research activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical education, research experience, and excellent communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Korean.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Support: Assist with patient intake, preparation for treatments, and provide support during acupuncture sessions.
Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle other administrative duties as needed.
Research Assistance: Support research projects related to acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion, including data collection and analysis.
Communication: Effectively communicate with patients and staff in Mandarin, English, and Korean to ensure clear understanding and patient satisfaction.
Basic Herbal Medicine Knowledge: Provide basic information about herbal medicine to patients as needed.
Office Operations: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for various tasks, including managing patient data and generating reports.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field with a medical education background.
Experience in medical research, with a focus on acupuncture or related fields.
Basic communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Korean.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work night shifts and handle a dynamic work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree with education in Traditional Chinese Medicine or a related field.
Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Korean.
Experience working with acupuncturists and knowledge of acupuncture, cupping, and moxibustion techniques.
Familiarity with basic herbal medicine and its applications.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
