The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, amendments, and optimization of schemas to meet system requirements, working as part of a dynamic team to develop an overall data architecture that supports the Department's needs and security standards. Required Experience: Proficiency in GIS and spatial databasesStrong experience in SQL database management, including SQL Server 2008R2, 2012Experience with SQL Server & Geodatabase managementProficiency with Oracle 10g and abovePreferred experience with Azure SQL and managing ArcGIS for Server Key Skills and Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems and principlesProven ability to independently analyze, evaluate, and resolve large enterprise database production issuesFamiliarity with ESRI SDE GeodatabasesStrong organizational and prioritization skillsAbility to estimate time requirements for database analysis and administration tasks accuratelyEffective collaboration with project managers, business analysts, and data analysts to develop efficient, long-term database solutionsProficiency in designing relational databases and interpreting technical information related to computer programming and data processing
