Electrical and Instrumentation Planner Pulp and Paper Mill
Salary $70,000 - $100,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Promotional Opportunities
Major manufacturer in the Paper Industry is looking for a E/I Planner for one of their mills. As Planner, you will perform daily planning activities to support the electrical and instrument technician schedules & maintain preventative maintenance program. Process and manage work order requests. Assign labor hours and cost of parts used to specific asset. Generate reports as required.
As the E&I Planner, your areas of focus will be: Responsible for work preparation: scope, parts, skills, duration Plan work orders based on the priorities provided by the management Work closely with all departments for maximum efficiency Manage kitting of planned parts Ensure accurate data history for analysis and generating performance indicators Support the strategies of maintenance planning, scheduling and execution Ensure work orders are planned, documented, and printed; schedules issued based on crew resource availability for every workday Validate completed work orders Develop improved work methods and procedures to continuously shorten production downtime and to increase overall productivity of the workforce.
Minimum Requirements for this Maintenance Planners position: Associate degree plus 5 years experience in a manufacturing maintenance electrical environment or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Special consideration for those with previous planning experience.
