The Service Sales Manager is responsible for selling UPS Services, and Thermal services to assigned end user accounts and property managers. This Service Sales Manager will also be able to sell total site services qualifying any Thermal service opportunity and can include all DVL products under the buy/resell sales program. It includes being responsible for budgeting, configuring, quoting, negotiating, and closing accounts. This position is supported with internal engineering and administrative support. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING
Responsible for the customer account list and is an expert in knowledge of territory, accounts (end users), electrical contractors, mechanical and general contractors established in the area. Responsible for seeking out new Thermal Service opportunities including installation base, warranty, upgrades, turnkey replacement solutions. Utilizing working Thermal knowledge of manufacturer (Vertiv) operations to upsell DVL services to major accounts in the market (JPMC, Amazon, FB, MSFT, etc.) Ability to work with existing end users. Develop and manage business relationships with property managers and property management companies for service opportunities. Effectively manage Thermal Sales projects that include both products and services in a profitable and efficient manner is essential. Manage and grow both Vertiv UPS & DVL Thermal Solutions account base expand service opportunities, equipment replacements and upgrades for current install base accounts. Provide management with service sales forecasts and project details by maintaining current information in DVLs CRM system. Responsible for reaching service sales quotas as established by Director of Service Sales on an annual basis. Attend required training program for Vertiv and other DVL manufacturers to become proficient in selling all offered services. Work collaboratively with DVL Sales and HVAC Service to ensure customer satisfaction. Engage in professional organizations in the local market to represent DVL and our product and service capabilities. Maintain product training requirements and technical knowledge of industry standards and best practices. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
High School Diploma required. BS degree preferred. 5 years of relevant commercial industry service sales experience and/or technical sales experience. Knowledge and experience with design/build, installation, services, and application of Thermal Systems or similar products required. Experience with Liebert/Vertiv (or similar) manufacturer preferred. Proven professional and caring customer service skills. High level of MS Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Valid Drivers License required to drive to customer sites. COMPETENCIES YOU SHOULD HAVE
