To learn more, take a look at Bravens and (link removed)> About the RoleIn order to achieve its ambition of serving 80,000-100,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven is hiring a Program Manager, Recruitment - Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N) who will be responsible for recruiting and enrolling 300-500 Fellows (students) into the Braven Accelerator course at RU-N per semester, where Fellows are typically pre-enrolled into the Braven course in their Sophomore or Junior year. To achieve these results, you will recruit and manage a team of part-time student recruitment interns and Braven Student Ambassadors. You will work closely with Central and Regional recruitment teams, and the student-led Braven Nation Club to help you reach your goals. In all of this, you will contribute to building and maintaining a positive presence of Braven at RU-N This role is on the Newark Regional Team team and reports directly to the Managing Director, RU-N. What Youll DoStudent Recruitment and Enrollment (45%) - Develop vision, strategy, and plans to effectively enroll and retain 300-500 students a semester into the Braven course
- Use Salesforce and Google Suites to manage recruitment data, operations, and pipelines
- Analyze recruitment data weekly to inform recruiting strategy
- Organize and support recruitment presentations and materials
- Host recruitment events in order to source prospective students
- Recruit and manage a team of student interns and volunteers
- Support the student-led Braven Nation student organization on campus
Social Media and Marketing (20%) - Share design input and feedback with Bravens External Affairs team on marketing materials
- Collect and share compelling stories with the Communications Team and External Affairs Team
- Support the Social Media and Marketing Committee
- Develop a social media recruitment strategy with the Communications and Recruitment interns
Stakeholder Management (10%) - Support the cultivation and management of key stakeholders such as professors, university, local nonprofit, and K-12 community partners
- Assess strategies employed and make informed improvements based on the gathering of quantitative, qualitative, and anecdotal data to present to key stakeholders.
- Attend meetings and maintain a relationship with RU-N student organizations and campus partners, such as career services or student affairs
Team Management and Culture (15%) - Participate in individual annual and quarterly planning and all-team events
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and manage part-time student interns
- Recruit and train student volunteers known as Braven Ambassadors
Requirements Minimum Requirements - Education: Bachelors Degree
- Work Experience: At least 1 year of experience with a track record of success in recruitment and/or marketing.
Preferred Qualifications - At least 1 year of experience in the non-profit field
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, Salesforce, Asana
- Ability to quickly build positive working relationships and identify strategically important relationships
- Excellent communication, facilitation and public speaking skills
- Experience coaching and mentoring students in career development
- Experience managing and developing people, particularly managing through others
- Proven ability to create, operationalize, and manage project plans, meeting milestones and deadlines
- Track record of using data and metrics to drive decisions and measure performance
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability, excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is comfortable with ambiguity
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion

- Experiences that have informed your belief in Bravens mission and prepared you to work with, or for, Bravens student Fellow population

- Work on Rutgers University-Newarks campus additional days outside of the required 3 days in office during peak recruitment seasons.
- Travel to 2-3 events per semester in the surrounding Newark Area.
- Ability to attend 2-3 events during the weekend per semester.
- Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up 20-50 pounds for various recruitment events (tabling, presentations, etc.)

Benefits Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your demonstrated fit for the role, will likely be between $56,800-$70,900. Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal and external equity seriously. Given our commitment to equity, Braven does not negotiate salary offers; instead each salary offer is determined carefully using external and internal benchmarking. You will have an opportunity to discuss salary in more detail after you begin the application process. Braven also provides competitive, comprehensive benefits, recognition, and career development. While Braven reserves the right to change benefits at any time, current benefits include: - Unlimited vacation time in addition to org-wide holidays and three team-wide, week-long shutdowns in Spring, Summer, and Winter (this is a minimum of 24 days per year)

Location We gather on-site at least 3 days per week (on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and often work remotely 2 days per week (although certain commitments might adjust that from time to time). Each teammate can use at least two flex days per week of their choosing to work remotely.
