Elevator Mechanic Troubleshooter
We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Mechanic Troubleshooter to service, maintain, and oversee the installation of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways for our clients. This advanced-level position requires comprehensive expertise in proprietary and non-proprietary elevator systems, including drives, motors, controls, and mechanical components.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in elevator maintenance or repair.
- Possession of a CET or NEIEP certification is preferred.
- Candidates with at least 8 years of verifiable experience who can pass the written exam and obtain a state elevator mechanic's license will also be considered.
- Pay range: $55 $65 per hour (varies by location).
- Relocation assistance and short-term housing are available for top-level candidates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of elevators, escalators, and mechanical walkways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
- Repair or replace defective components.
- Maintain clean, safe working environments and ensure proper inventory of tools and supplies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Relevant mechanical certification.
- Proven expertise with advanced elevator systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in challenging environments.
- Flexibility to travel and work after hours as needed.
- Strong ability to work independently.
