C# Developer

Atlanta, GA 

Join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions for warehouse automation systems and enterprise software.

Need software developers and technical leaders who are experts in inter-service communication and large automation systems.

 

The job involves developing specific changes to the communication, application and reporting modules for WCS software. The developed changes will then need to be deployed to servers and tested for proper integration, routing and performance. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in leading and developing software solutions, service-oriented architecture, system level communication using TCP sockets, REST APIs, FTP etc.

Onsite testing will need to be performed at the warehouse, during various stages of the project.

 

The skilled Software Engineer will be involved, at varying degrees, in the following:

        Designing and developing software using .NET Core, C#;

        Designing and developing database components and software modules a Warehouse Controls System(WCS) Software platform.

        Designing and developing interfaces using various transfer methods (e.g., REST APIs, TCP Sockets, FTP, etc.);

        Debugging and tuning of applications for performance and reliable communication, various MS and in-house tools;

        Executing integration testing and support go-live of the project on-site, in a warehouse.

 Required Skills and Experience

        7 years experience 

        Experienced in C#, .NET Core, MS SQL over Nhibernate, RabbitMQ

        Knowledge in Socket communication, TCP/IP messaging.

        Good communication skills

        Experience in developing software solutions for the Warehouse Automation industry

        Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices

        Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

        Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

        Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team

        Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies

        Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work

        Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

 Good to Have Skills

        Interface with Siemens PLC, Ignition SCADA software is recommended

        Prior experience in the Warehouse Automation or Material Handling industry would be a plus.

        Travel to end customer site for commissioning is expected as part of this role. Up to 20% of the time expected for customer site travel.
