In Springfield, MA Provide In-Home and community therapeutic services to children and families. Conduct intake interviews to evaluate mental health, create a treatment plan for client. Identify the clients' problem/assets and set treatment goals, recommend strategies for treating infantile and juvenile disorders. Implement techniques/therapeutic interventions to attain these goals. Keep notes of treatment and recommend changes to the treatment plan. Run symptom-specific therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of various functioning levels and/or diagnostic categories. Provide family therapy services. Attend team meetings and collaborate with team members on clients' treatment plans and progress. With the supervisor, discuss issues or problems relating to the client's care.
The experience and education requirements are:
1 year of experience as a therapist or a related occupation and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology or a related field, or the equivalent, as determined by a credential evaluation agency.
