Position: Application/Production Support Specialist Banking Domain Summary: Seeking a skilled professional with experience in application/production support to manage and troubleshoot customized applications (including Jack Henry software) for the banking domain. The role focuses on ensuring application stability, resolving incidents, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to support business-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide L2/L3 application support for customized banking applications, including incident diagnosis, resolution, and escalation management.
- Troubleshoot application performance, functionality, and access issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform routine maintenance, patches, and upgrades while conducting basic testing for stability post-deployment.
- Document known issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and efficient incident handling.
Skills & Qualifications: - Experience in application/production support with a focus on banking or financial applications (e.g., Jack Henry).
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and basic troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of application monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with end-users and technical teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS) is a plus.
