Mobile Health Team Inc., a staffing agency has an opening for an Infection Preventionist II(link removed) We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Phoenix, AZ, 85016

Assignment Start Date: 3/10/2025

13 weeks | Varied | 8-hour shift | 40 hours guaranteed weekly

Coordinates comprehensive organization-wide infection surveillance, prevention, and control programs by current requirements of regulatory, government, and accrediting/licensing agencies and organizational policies and procedures. Duties include surveillance for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs); collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of surveillance data; outbreak investigation; and program evaluation.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in clinical/patient care services or relevant health care position
• 2 years minimum experience working in Infection Prevention

Education:

• B.S. Degree in Nursing, Microbiology, Public Health, Medical Technology, or a related field and a related license or certification.
• Master in Nursing, Public Health, or related field preferred with a related license or certification preferred

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registration:

• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) certification from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC).

EMR System: Experience preferred

Shift: Days; Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm

Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved to start. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
