They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Chief Estimator in a hybrid working environment. This pivotal requires a professional capable of leading and managing an estimating team within the environmental and construction sectors, with a particular focus on projects related to fuel facilities.

Location: Melville, NY - Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the estimating team, ensuring its performance aligns with company goals and standards.


• Motivate, train, and manage the team to produce accurate and timely estimates for construction and service business units.


• Directly prepare estimates for select construction and service projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of experience in estimating within the construction, environmental, or related industries.


• Experience in the pump & tank industry is highly desirable.


• Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.


• Proficiency in generating estimates for projects valued between $25,000 and $5,000,000.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Familiarity with cost estimating software is preferred.


• Competence in reading and interpreting plans and project documents.
