Resident Care Director/ Director of Nursing position – Long Island, NY area

We are currently accepting applications for a Resident Care Director/Director of Nursing Services (RN ) for a very reputable Senior Living community located in the Long Island, NY area. The community is a beautiful high-end community that offers Assisted Living and Memory Care accommodations for the residents. The Resident Care Director/Director of Nursing needs to possess the leadership ability to manage the Nursing department(s), while ensuring that the best possible care and services are being provided to the residents. Key responsibilities include teaching, mentoring and developing the nursing team, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations. Must have a demonstrated history of excellent survey results, good tenure, a hospitality mindset, as well as a customer service focused approach to care. Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of NY with a current license, and have at least 3 years of experience in geriatrics as a supervisor.
