WHO YOULL WORK WITH



Youll be part of a global team within the ENR CoE, currently expanding into the Americas from its original base in India. This role works closely with Bains Intersect



WHERE YOULL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM



In this full-time hybrid role, youll join Bains Energy and Natural Resources (ENR CoE) team65+ professionals organized across sub-sector specialtieswithin theBain Capability Network. This role supports Bains Intersect



WHAT YOULL DO



In this role, youll be responsible for the formulation and implementation of complex optimization models to address energy transition challenges, leveraging Bains Intersect




Case Cracking: Collaborate with practice stakeholders to solve complex, multi-dimensional business problems for Bains ENR case teams

Client Development: Develop client-facing materials and support leadership in pitches; occasional travel may be required

Product Management: Maintain and enhance the Intersect

Team Oversight: May manage a small team of analysts, including task allocation, review, and feedback discussions

Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with primary client contacts (internal and/or external)




ABOUT YOU




Bachelors degree in engineering, technology, or related field, with 25 years of relevant professional experience

Proficiency in GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) and mathematical optimization

High proficiency in spoken and written English (C1C2 level), with strong communication skills

Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure

A solid understanding of macroeconomics and the ENR sector is a plus

Willingness to travel regionally within the Americas, if required
