**Position Summary**
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Women and Family Center, including labor, post-delivery, post-surgical, newborn, special care nursery, and pediatrics.

### ⭐ **Primary Skills (Must-Have)**

* **RN License (IA or Compact State)**
* **BLS (Basic Life Support)**
* **NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – within 12 months)**
* **Fetal Monitoring**
* Strong **Patient Care** and **Critical Thinking**

### **Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver direct nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, post-partum, and newborn nursery.
* Monitor **fetal & maternal conditions**, respond to emergencies, and assist physicians.
* Administer medications safely and accurately.
* Perform **patient assessments**, document care, and educate families.
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
* Ensure compliance with hospital safety and quality standards.

### **Qualifications**

* Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
* Experience in **Maternal Child Nursing** or **Med-Surg** preferred.
* Iowa RN License or Compact State Nursing License (required).
* BLS required, NRP & Fetal Monitoring within 12 months.
