OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Colorado Springs, CO

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position near Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a flexible schedule while providing essential care in both clinical and on-call settings. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering the chance to make a significant impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including both obstetrics and gynecology, in a clinic setting.


• Manage 12 exam rooms with support from a well-trained office ancillary staff, including 1:1 MA coverage, a sonographer, three front desk personnel, and a surgical scheduler.


• Perform and oversee lab tests and ultrasounds, working closely with the onsite lab and ultrasound technicians.


• Handle 24-hour call duties from 7:00 AM Sunday to 7:00 AM Monday, with varying callback percentages:

• Utilize EMR systems for documentation in both clinic and hospital settings, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.


• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

• 24-Hour Call: Sunday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM.


• Location: Near Colorado Springs, CO.


• Start Date: ASAP.


• End Date: Ongoing, through August 2025.


• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital call.


• Worksite Resources: Onsite lab, ultrasound performed by tech, 12 exam rooms, and a robust office ancillary staff.


• Competitive compensation with an hourly rate.

Qualifications:

• Required: Board-Certified OB/GYN with active Colorado state license.


• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required.


• Experience: Proven ability to manage both obstetric and gynecologic cases with a high level of expertise.


• Skills: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in EMR systems.
