Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and test software applications in collaboration with the development team and business partners
• Ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an agile environment
• Analyze, design, and support the implementation of Oracle PL/SQL, Views, and database tables based on business requirements
• Hands-on development using PYSPARK, PYTHON, and SQL
• Performance tuning, explain plan understanding, normalization, renormalization, and star schema design
• Create and modify database tables and develop stored procedures, triggers, and SQL queries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development and database management
• Strong proficiency in PYSPARK, PYTHON, SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proficient in PYSPARK, PYTHON, SQL programming languages
• Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning, and database design
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and coordination skills in a distributed team setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications in PYSPARK, Python, and SQL
• Experience with UI development and UNIX systems
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and data warehousing concepts
