PayPal, Inc. seeks Strategy Development 2 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Support the development of PayPal’s strategy, for both the company and individual business units. Support strategic projects core to the strategy of PayPal into the execution phase. Help to develop documents to facilitate cross-functional discussions as well as communicate with Senior Management. Conduct and/or lead key qualitative (e.g., primary research, synthesis of secondary data sources) and quantitative (e.g., Excel modelling) analysis in support of deliverables. Support PayPal’s senior leadership team by developing and articulating PayPal’s position on long-term strategic issues. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

Three years of experience in each of the following:

• Experience in strategy consulting, banking, and or corporate strategy
• Experience in financial services technology and or e-commerce
• World class strategic and analytical thinking, with a demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple sources of information (quantitative and qualitative) to solve complex problems in a structured, data-driven way
• Experience in providing strategic advice to complex global organizations

Salary: $126,173.00-175,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
