Panaseer Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Data Analyst to combine knowledge of Panaseer’s platform, data analysis and cyber control domains to deliver high quality, high value, standardized security content for the product.


Job responsibilities and duties include:
• Triage and process the Customer and Implementation Engineer’s feedback to identify analysis suitable for a broad set of customers.
• Design and deliver production-quality analytics packs (new or improved), including testing and verification of the output.
• Oversee all implementations of analytics packs and support on any related issues or incidents.
• Write, migration, and/or implement guides as well as provide guidance to and train Implementation Engineers.
• Educate and provide technical mentorship to junior team members and advocate for the adoption of analytics pack enhancements and the customization zero concept.
• Be proactive and efficient at communicating status updates and blockers on current assignments.

This position does not supervise any personnel or participate in any management decisions, nor does this position plan, direct or coordinate the activities of any personnel.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Analysis/ Science, or any STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field of study, plus at least five (5) years of experience in any related position(s) in which the experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. Programming or query language (SQL and Python)
2. Knowledge and application of data analysis best practices including data quality, standardization, and performance
3. Translate user needs into a set of data analysis requirements
4. Debug/troubleshoot data analysis issues
5. Software engineering and product management concepts and processes relevant for building a SaaS product
6. Cyber security control domains: Vulnerability management, Patch management, Identity & Access Management, and Application Security
7. Cyber security frameworks and regulations
