Delivery Manager / Engagement Lead (Cloud)

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Delivery Manager / Engagement Lead (Cloud) to serve as the primary interface and strategic program leader for a classified government customer and its stakeholders.

This critical role is based in Ft. Meade, MD and requires a blend of expert program management, deep customer relationship building, and hands-on delivery oversight to ensure the successful adoption and operation of complex cloud solutions in a highly sensitive, mission-focused environment.

🚀 What You Will Do

As the Engagement Lead, you will be the linchpin between mission requirements and technical execution, driving strategic success for the customer:

• Program Leadership: Manage all aspects of program delivery, ensuring alignment with customer mission objectives and strategic goals.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the main liaison, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with government stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Strategy Translation: Expertly translate complex mission, compliance, and security requirements into actionable technical delivery priorities.

• Governance & Reporting: Lead formal business reviews, program status meetings, and articulate program health and strategy to key decision-makers.

• Adoption & Advocacy: Champion and advocate for cloud adoption and modernization across various government programs.

• Delivery Oversight: Ensure customer success through rigorous delivery oversight, escalation management, and risk mitigation.

• Team Management: Manage and direct technical platform and CloudOps Engineers, ensuring they meet the requirements, goals, and deadlines of the mission.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this high-impact position, candidates must meet all of the following:

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (NSA Lifestyle CI & Full-Scope) is mandatory.

• Experience: 8+ years of proven program and project management experience within the Federal Government, DoD, or Intelligence Community (IC)(link removed)>

• Cloud Program Management: Strong experience managing and delivering in classified cloud programs, with a demonstrated customer-facing presence.

• Enterprise IT: Strong experience with enterprise IT delivery and large-scale cloud adoption initiatives.

• Trust Building: Proven ability to rapidly build and maintain trust in highly sensitive, classified environments.

• JJCertification - DoD 8570: Current DoD 8570 certification (e.g., CISSP, PMP-8570).

• Certification - Cloud: Current core Cloud Provider Certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Azure Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Microsoft Azure platform across various impact levels and fabrics.

• Prior experience with other cloud governance platforms or tools.

• Strong understanding of Authority To Operate (ATO) processes and FedRAMP/NIST controls.
