Northrop Grumman is looking for a UI/UX Engineer to support our Advanced Technology Software Engineering Team. As a member of the Software Engineering department you'll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, superconducting foundry engineers, and software engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site at Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD.

Responsibilities:

Design UI/UX to enable high user adoption of the final software product

Collaborate with users to identify design improvements to reduce engineering effort of our new application

Work with the software engineering teams to plan/scope work to be non-interfering with fast pace project milestones

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience

Working knowledge in one of the following languages: C++, Winforms

Experience in developing UI/UX interfaces with legacy applications

Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen.

Experienced software developer that can support additional backend software development tasks in addition to UI/UX updates

Experience developing WinForms applications and supported complex legacy software suites

Ability to work independently and as part of a fast paced team

Utilized Atlassian software suite

Experience working within an agile scrum framework
