The Sales Operations Assistant plays a vital role in supporting a high-performing sales team by managing quotes, processing orders, coordinating client communications, and ensuring smooth operational flow. You’ll work closely with sales leadership, operations, and finance to help drive revenue growth and optimize sales productivity. This role is perfect for someone tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and hungry to grow in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 / Year DOE
Sales Operations Assistant Responsibilities:
Support the sales team with quotes, order processing, and customer communications
Manage client inquiries, track orders, and coordinate with vendors and fulfillment partners
Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and tracking payments in QuickBooks
Build and maintain sales reports, KPIs, and dashboards in Excel and HubSpot
Help improve sales processes to increase team efficiency and client satisfaction
Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue
Manage data integrity within CRM systems and ensure accurate pipeline visibility
Partner with leadership to prepare presentations and materials for key accounts
Sales Operations Assistant Requirements:
1 – 3+ years of experience in sales support, operations, or administrative roles
Strong Excel skills
Experience with CRM software and general tech proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Team player with integrity, initiative, and a customer-first mindset
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience valued over degree
Experience with HubSpot preferred
Experience in technology, telecom, or hardware sales preferred
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar invoicing tools preferred
Strong analytical skills and a passion for operational excellence preferred
