Throughaccuratetracking and scheduling, the Fleet Technicianis responsible forproactive fleet maintenance and needed repairs for fleet vehicles. The Fleet Technician works with the operations team tomaintainsafe and reliable vehicles for staff and clients while reacting to service needs, conducting vehiclerepairsin the field, while ensuring minimal serviceinterruptions.This positionis responsible forscheduling, tracking, and coordinating proactive fleet maintenancewith our outsourced service providers. This work will include taking vehicles to shops, scheduling work withserviceproviders,and ensuring we are working to meet our goals of keeping our fleet safe, DOTcompliantreliableand on the road.

Compensation:

• $35.00- $45.00/Hour with a $7,500 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities:

• Regularly inspect all vehicles for condition and operational safety; ensure maintenance of the highest level, including physical appearance.
• Address immediate fleet concerns andmaintainfleet service records: trouble-shoot/resolve issues to reduce the number of road calls and ensure a prominent level of safety within all operations.
• Respond to and resolve immediate fleet concerns to minimize road calls andmaintaina high levelof operational safety.
• Track daily vehicle reports, maintenance, partsusedand repair records.
• Inform Fleet Management/Admin of on-board shuttle technology such as Wi-Fidevices,telematics. systems and vehicle tablets to ensure the systems are functional and installed accordingly.
• Collaborate with fleet vendors and the operation teams toanticipateservice needs andoptimizefleet readiness.
• Complete all work ordersas they are assigned asscheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1+years of maintenance experience working with a variety of vehicles; experience with transit buses and motor coaches strongly preferred
• 1+ Years of changing fluids in vehicles and safety checking different vehicle systems
• High School Diploma or equivalentrequired; technical school training preferred
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Current/Active DOT Medical Card
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test
• Able to communicate proficiently in English
• Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours
• Must be willing to work in outside environments, which may include inclement weather
