The Transportation Shuttle Supervisoris responsible fordispatching drivers to sitelocations(s).Assistwith vehicle safety checks and ensure asmoothtimelypull-out for each location. Monitor shuttle operations during peak arrival and departure times. The Transportation Shuttle Supervisor may alsobe requiredto fill in for a driver on an emergency basis. Responsible for ensuring all vehicles are fueled, ready for dispatch and secured at the off-site parking location before or at the end of the shift.

The Transportation ShuttleSupervisorwill alsoconductfield audits to ensure Driver complianceonthe service levels we are providing. They will also conduct coaching sessions related to Driver performance and safetyusing our technology and tracking systems.

Compensation:

  • $38.50- $44.00/Hour
  • Quarterly Safety Bonus Program

Responsibilities:

  • Provide front line supervision to drivers, program support staff, andadditionalstaff assigned to the Shuttle Transportation Program,representingsupervisory responsibility for15+ employees.
  • Ensure efficient pull-out of all shuttle routes at the beginning of each shift so that all shuttle service starts on time and canmaintainefficient and safe service.
  • Assign available vehicles to each route, ensure that all external signage is current, and drivers have necessary supplies and documentation paperwork.
  • Work with the Operations Managerpertaining tofleet management and movement of assets.
  • Oversee fleet of 20+ shuttle vehicles as well as support vehicles.
  • Review fleetconditiondaily andassistin scheduling vehicles for repairs asdeterminedby the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure that the fleet is clean, working with the drivers to schedule and perform cleaning activities.
  • Oversee ordering and procurement of equipmentandsupplies, ensuring that staff and daily operations have all equipment and supplies needed; ensure that Shuttles are stocked with required supplies, schedules, and other informational pieces at all times.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to cover scheduled and unscheduled absences in the event a driver does not check in on time.
  • Assistwith data gathering or updating shuttle operations records as needed.
  • Conduct on-the-road observations at various locations in the system,monitoringon-time performance, shuttle operations, customer service, safe drivingprinciplesand document/follow-up with any areas of concern.
  • Assistin the investigation of workplace crashes/injuries and ensure adherence to safety standards and safe workplace practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role
  • 2+ years ofdriving experience(shuttle, routed, or point-to-point transportation using a vehicle with a 10,000 GVWR or greater)
  • Must have experience in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be at least 21years of age
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • CDL Class A, B or C License
  • Passenger Endorsement
  • Current/Active DOT Medical Card
