About the Team
Our Dermatology team provides specialized, patient-centered care for a wide range of skin conditions. We collaborate across specialties to ensure prevention, diagnosis, and treatment are seamless, compassionate, and personalized.
Team members gain experience in advanced dermatologic procedures while working closely with highly skilled providers who are committed to mentorship and clinical excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic, high-quality patient care within our Dermatology clinic setting
- Support dermatology providers by scribing during procedures and patient visits
- Prepare and assist during dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy and MOHS surgeries
- Manage patient flow, exam room preparation, and supply organization
- Handle in-basket items, patient calls, and medication prior authorizations
- Ensure compliance with CLIA/OSHA standards and maintain surgical instruments
- Assist with specialized dermatology programs, including the iPledge Accutane registry and pathology processes
- Provide thorough patient education and post-care instructions
- Collaborate closely with dermatology providers and the broader specialty care team
Position Type
This position is available as a full- or part-time position working day shift hours. This position includes scheduled hours within our Staples and Pillager location.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program
- Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification
Ideal Candidate
- Prior clinic experience and familiarity with Family Medicine care
- Experience with EPIC EHR preferred
- Motivated to grow professionally in a specialty area with added compensation for MOHS training
- Motivated to grow professionally
- Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Enjoys learning new procedures and expanding clinical expertise
