Position title : Workday Financials Functional Lead Location : Remote (Charlotte, NC) Duration : 2+ Months Contract Job Description We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Functional Lead to support an initial implementation business process alignment period prior to a full Workday Financials deployment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on Workday Financial Data Modeling (FDM), Workday Financial Accounting, and Workday Budgets experience and will play a pivotal role in creating and structuring the Foundational Data Model (FDM) for our client. This role requires strong financial accounting expertise and prior experience leading Workday Financials full life cycle implementations. The consultant will work closely with the client to analyze their current business processes, guide them on Workday best practices, and streamline their FDM, Financial Accounting, and Budgeting structures. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Functional Lead for Workday FDM, Financial Accounting, and Budgets during the business process alignment phase. Work with the client to design and configure the Foundational Data Model (FDM), including a revamped chart of accounts. Provide Workday best practice recommendations and drive process improvements in the Financials and Budgeting areas. Conduct workshops and demonstrations to help the client align with Workday capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition into Workday Financials. Serve as the primary consultant without additional support, requiring strong self-sufficiency and expertise.
