Job Title: Associate Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR)

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid) Experience: 1+ Years

About the Function

The Financial Regulatory Reporting (FRR) team is responsible for financial synthesis and subject matter reporting activities. The team focuses on financial reporting, accounting, regulatory disclosures, and analytical reviews across entities.

Position Purpose

The Associate role supports financial and regulatory reporting activities for the APAC region. This position exists to ensure continuity and accuracy in reporting and accounting processes during a maternity coverage period, contributing to timely and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Head Office Reporting

• Prepare financial reporting including P&L, balance sheet, off-balance sheet items, disclosures, and regulatory schedules
  
• Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis
  
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested
  
• Support accounting controls as per standard accounting control frameworks
  
• Perform inter-company transaction reconciliation
  

Accounting & Month-End Activities

• Prepare and post daily/monthly accounting entries (accruals, MTM, etc.)
  
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and prepare reconciliation schedules
  
• Reconcile source systems with general ledger and identify discrepancies
  
• Review ledgers and perform detailed account and transaction analysis
  
• Prepare month-end substantiation and reconciliation packs for multiple legal entities
  

Collaboration

• Work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support reporting and accounting requirements
  

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting under IFRS or Ind AS
  
• Experience in bookkeeping, transaction recording, and reconciliations
  
• Understanding of financial and banking products
  
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
  
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and basic office tools
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  
• Professional Qualification: CA or equivalent (preferred)
  
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in finance, accounting, or financial reporting
  
• Additional Skills: Strong Excel and accounting knowledge preferred
