Job Title: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist / Cath Lab Technologist
Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist / Cath Lab Technologist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced cardiovascular laboratory. The ideal candidate will be highly trained in invasive cardiology, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile technique, with the ability to assist physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

Required Certifications & Licensure

ARRT-R and active state license as required
OR

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
OR

Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)

Certification required (must be current and active)

BCLS (AHA) – required upon hire and must be maintained

ACLS – required within 30 days of hire

Experience Requirements

Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred

Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred

Experience assisting with:

Diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Hemodynamic monitoring

Sterile field setup and maintenance

Education & Training

Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist Training Program

Emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology

Proficient in hemodynamic monitoring systems

Excellent sterile technique and radiation safety practices

Proficient computer skills, including EMR and procedural documentation

Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures

Monitor and document hemodynamic data during procedures

Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms

Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Support post-procedure patient care and documentation

Work Environment
