Locum Critical Care Medicine Job in Pennsylvania
Seeking Pulmonary-Critical Care physicians for long-term locum coverage near Indiana, PA.
Job Details:
- Coverage Date: Apr. 25, 2022 - May 2, 2022
- EMR System: Epic
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Other Details:
- Will cover Medical Critical Care unit
- Admit approx. 130 patients per month 10-20 patients per day (14-15 Summer 18-20 winter)
- 24-hour resident coverage, residents take the first call
- Make rounds on patients in AM with Residents then on-call for the remainder of the 24 hours
- Admissions from Emergency Room 3-4 per day
- High acuity patients, cardiac and sepsis
- Placement of arterial lines
- Sedation: Deep, Conscious
- Cardio-version
- Post OP cardiac surgical management
- ACLS required
