Job Description
Position Responsibilities:
Drive end to end ownership and accountability for the service delivery of the Network and firewall security environments, and performance of the team and IT managed service provider(s), ensuring transparency and integrity
Lead the Network firewall engineering teams and suppliers supporting the Reyes Holdings Global infrastructure, on-premise (e.g., Data Centers, Onramps,) and off-premise (e.g., Microsoft Azure and Oracle OCI Cloud environments). Aligns to industry best practices for design/build of technologies such as Cisco ACI, Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler services, Cloud solutions (Azure/OCI), Cisco SDWAN, Infoblox, F5, Cisco ACI, Cisco Wireless, 4G/5G/6G and other wireless WAN services (satellite, LOS, etc.) are all now consolidated and incorporated into the team's responsibilities
Stay current with new and emerging technology and industry trends to identify solutions that may benefit the business
Lead the technical day-to-day IT infrastructure and engineers, both internal staff and managed services partners, including work prioritization, Incident, Problem and Change Management, defining, and tracking IT metrics and provide status to management. Manage an on-call rotation to provide operational support as needed, which may include off hours
Sponsor training, development, coaching, and mentoring to employees, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation
Implement and maintain ITIL aligned policies, processes, procedures, including transitioning services to managed support providers, for all supported systems. Maintain strict adherence to ITSM and operational processes including ticket management, Incident, Problem, and Change Control procedures to ensure timely response, service delivery, and to meet committed SLAs
Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree with 8 plus years of related experience and 4 plus years of management experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 11 plus years of specific experience and 5 plus years of management experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree
