Required skills & experience:
8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate, including Classic Architecture and Microservices Architecture.
Strong expertise in conflict detection and resolution strategies for complex replication environments.
In-depth experience with DDL replication, heartbeat table monitoring, and loop detection in active-active replication setups.
Proven ability to tune GoldenGate Extract, Pump, and Replicat processes for high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
Solid understanding of cloud-native AWS RDS features, including Multi-AZ failover, backup and recovery, monitoring, and parameter groups.
Demonstrated success delivering zero-downtime database migrations to AWS RDS using Oracle GoldenGate, Data Guard, or AWS DMS.
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning and optimization skills.
Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Flashback technologies.
Experience working within DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines for database and schema deployments.
Good to have experience with hybrid architectures integrating Oracle databases with Kafka, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL platforms.
Hands-on experience with Oracle 19c or 23c, including features such as JSON, In-Memory, and AutoML is highly desired.
