Nokia of America Corporation, System & Network Validator Integrator (Multiple Positions), Raleigh, NC. Develop and manage customer focus test plans and related documentation to set up end-to-end customer networks using PON systems within the Nokia CFT Lab. Prepare and execute test plans to validate product features, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Design regression test strategies and select test cases based on code impact and new feature integration. Utilize test automation tools with hands-on development in Python and Shell, leveraging frameworks like Robot and Selenium. Install, configure, and maintain Nokia’s data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of network, and server resources and systems. Perform troubleshooting with routers and switches to resolve network issues. Collaborate closely with customer teams and Product Line Managers (PLMs) to align testing with customer needs and product requirements. Provide measurable input into new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of business strategies. Analyze, develop and implement concepts and solutions as a subject matter expert.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following: GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network), XG-PON (asymmetrical 10G Passive Optical Network), XGS-PON (symmetrical 10G Passive Optical Network), and NG-PON2 (Next-Generation Passive Optical Network) technologies; ITU-T G.988 standard; RG-ONTs (Residential Gateway Optical Network Terminals), and SFU-ONTs (Single Family Unit Optical Network Terminals); Optical Line Terminals including 7342, 7360, and MF-x platform; and, Scripting language: Python.

Domestic travel up to 10% required.
