Job Description:

Provide signal integrity design support for higher data rate and/or existing interconnect solutions. Develop new or advanced technologies in signal integrity design support capabilities. Perform characterization of high-speed connectors and systems through the use of high-speed digital testing and electromagnetic modelling techniques. Research and implement next generation/advanced technologies in electrical high-speed measurement capabilities. Provide high-level of technical support to the customers on various high-speed serial I/O, Back plane, Board-to-Board and Channel applications. Ability to Perform both Passive and Active testing across various advanced high-speed interconnects in SI lab without supervision.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field and 5 years of work experience in Electrical Engineering.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in all of the following:

Experience with electromagnetic/RF (including S-parameters), communication and signal and system;
Experience operating software including Ansys Electronics, CST, MATLAB, Cadance CAD tool, Agilent ADS, and Agilent PLTS; and
Experience using Vector Network Analyzer, Time Domain Reflectometry, BERT (up to 64 GBaud), Wide-Bandwidth Oscilloscope, and Waveform Analyzer.


International travel required up to 5%; Domestic travel required up to 5%.
