Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with experience in the manufacturing industry to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions in Hyderabad. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4-6 years of relevant work experience. Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in cost accounting with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in the use of Tally ERP software for managing financial transactions and statements (Mandatory skill).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Experience with inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock records and optimize inventory levels.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial reporting and compliance.
• Ability to prepare budget forecasts and financial planning in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of cost management and reduction techniques within manufacturing operations.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify financial discrepancies and provide corrective action plans.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis between budgeted and actual results for decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and conduct regular audits.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to understand cost behavior and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls in financial reporting.
• Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting within the organization.
• Provide strategic financial insights to management for driving business objectives.
