Job Overview

Gamut HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Restaurant Cashier to join a dynamic team in Hyderabad. This is a Full-Time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems to efficiently manage transactions and sales (Mandatory skill).
• Exceptional cash handling skills to ensure accurate and secure financial transactions (Mandatory skill).
• Customer service expertise to provide a welcoming and satisfying experience for patrons (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to multitask effectively to handle simultaneous customer interactions and operational tasks.
• Solid basic math skills to perform calculations and manage financial records accurately.
• Conflict resolution skills to handle customer complaints and issues diplomatically and professionally.
• Efficient time management skills to ensure timely completion of all cashier duties and related tasks.
• Receipt management to ensure accurate documentation of sales transactions and financial reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system to ensure smooth customer payment experiences.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment, accurately recording all financial transactions in the system.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and courteously.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier area to ensure a pleasant environment for both customers and colleagues.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking essential items to ensure operational efficiency.
• Generate daily sales reports and balance cash drawers to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations and address any challenges that arise.
• Uphold company policies and procedures related to cash handling, customer interactions, and sales transactions.
