Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior DI Colourist to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the field of video editing and color grading. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of visual output for our clients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (Mandatory skill), with a strong ability to perform detailed color grading for various video projects.
• Expertise in color grading techniques (Mandatory skill), ensuring that all video outputs meet the desired visual standards.
• Experienced in video editing (Mandatory skill) to create a seamless and high-quality visual experience for the audience.
• Sound understanding of shot matching techniques, ensuring consistency and continuity across different scenes and shots.
• Strong grasp of color science to accurately interpret and implement the color specifications as per the project requirements.
• Effective client communication skills to understand client feedback and incorporate desired changes efficiently and professionally.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high visual standards across all projects undertaken.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with a team to accomplish shared objectives and project goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and assess project briefs to determine color correction and grading requirements for video content.
• Work in conjunction with the creative and production teams to establish visual tones and ensure creative coherence.
• Utilize DaVinci Resolve to perform color grading tasks and ensure seamless shot-to-shot transitions.
• Conduct revisions based on client feedback to ensure a finished product that aligns with their vision.
• Stay updated with the latest color grading and video editing trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.
• Maintain organized workflows and footage management to facilitate efficient project handling and completion.
• Carry out thorough quality checks on all final outputs to assure adherence to company standards.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for upcoming projects.
