Make a Difference in Your Community:

• Provide comprehensive surgical care to inpatients and emergency department patients, including consults, transfers, and referrals from critical access hospitals.


• Perform a broad range of routine general surgery procedures and acute care surgeries, utilizing your expertise to improve patient outcomes.


• Collaborate effectively with a team of experienced general surgeons, advanced practice providers (APPs), and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.


• Contribute to the overall success of the Surgical Group by upholding high standards of quality and patient satisfaction.

Predictable Schedule & Supportive Environment:

• Maintain a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with regular business hours (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), allowing for a healthy work-life balance.


• Enjoy minimal call coverage requirements, with weekend call responsibilities split evenly among general surgeons in the group.


• Integrate into a supportive and collaborative environment that values teamwork and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Degree: A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is mandatory.


• Licensure: An unrestricted Georgia medical license, or the ability to obtain one, is required.


• Training: Residency training in General Surgery is essential. Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery is a must.


• Experience: A proven track record of performing a wide range of general surgery procedures and acute care surgeries is necessary.
