Fleet Maintenance Manager Northeast Logistics



Salary $85,000 - $100,000 + Great Benefits + Paid Relocation to the NE USA



We are recruiting a skilled and proactive Fleet Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and performance of our fleet multiple Northeast Logistics (NEL) terminals(link removed) This Fleet Maintenance Manager leadership role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance operations, while supporting shop teams and collaborating with NEL management.



As the Fleet Maintenance Manager, your key responsibilities are:


Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for fleet vehicles.


Supervise multiple maintenance shops and direct hourly maintenance staff.


Plan, schedule, and document repair work to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.


Monitor shop performance, fleet costs, and implement process improvements.


Manage vendor relationships and procurement recommendations.


Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and industry standards.


Support warranty recovery programs and lifecycle cost analysis.


Maintain inventory and parts availability across terminals.


Serve as the primary contact for internal customers and senior leadership.


Travel up to 75% to support terminal operations and external vendors.



Minimum requirements for this Fleet Maintenance Manager position:


Must have High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.


CDL preferred; ASE T Master Certification or CAFM credentials a plus.


Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and fleet systems.


At least 5 years of fleet maintenance experience, including diesel/heavy equipment repair.


Supervisory or management experience required.


Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.


Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Ability to travel up to 75% to support terminal operations and external vendors.
