Virtual Data & Design Solutions
Support multidisciplinary teams delivering substation (Grid) projects.
Produce 2D/3D electrical design deliverables using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
Role requires elementary design capabilities not draftingonly.
Responsibilities
Develop and modify technical drawings and project deliverables.
Apply foundational electrical engineering principles to create design concepts.
Use CAD/BIM/3D modeling tools to maintain accurate documentation.
Perform basic design calculations, material quantities, and estimates.
Coordinate with other design groups to ensure alignment and accuracy.
Follow standards, codes, document control practices, and BV procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement and adopt new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Technology preferred.
Demonstrated entrylevel design exposure (not purely drafting).
Minimum Requirements
Typically 5+ years related drafting/design experience.
Ability to complete all preemployment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR, etc.).
