Assistant Director of Enrollment Location: US-GA-Atlanta Compensation: $55,385 - $55,385 / year Email Job

Advise and assist students and provide educational and vocational guidance services. Play a pivotal role in the recruitment and enrollment process of talented students. Responsible for managing a caseload of an assigned territory, ensuring the timely completion of applicant files for presentation to the Admission Review Committee, and providing exceptional support to applicants throughout the admission process. Play a vital role in fostering relationships by providing personalized assistance to students, parents, and educators throughout the various stages of the admission process. Receive and process all documents required for admission and scholarship evaluation. Regular follow-up with students will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring their applications are complete and gathering any necessary information to support their application. Given the nature of this role, extensive travel is a requirement. Therefore, becoming an expert in educational systems within your assigned territory is imperative. Collaborate closely with other departments to strategize and execute events that contribute to SCAD's outreach and recruitment efforts. Operate management systems to record and track documents, contacts, and other pertinent information while ensuring strict adherence to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines. Data integrity is paramount in maintaining accurate records. Responsible for delivering engaging classroom presentations that captivate potential students. Build and nurture relationships with schools and organizations to raise awareness of SCAD and its offerings. Research, plan, and coordinate travel to top organizations of interest, collaborating with teammates as needed to ensure efficient and effective outreach efforts. Act as a host during events, encouraging applicants, addressing parental concerns, discussing financial plans, and ensuring a seamless transition for students joining the SCAD community. Responsible for updating monthly caseload reports and contributing to the growth of SCAD's network by establishing and nurturing relationships with schools and organizations. Stay up-to-date with SCAD publications, policies, and professional development opportunities is integral to your role. Serve as a mentor to new staff members, sharing your expertise and insights. Play a role in monitoring admission meeting minutes, proactively asking questions to enhance understanding and decision-making processes. Be a point of on-campus support for staff during event days, contributing to the smooth execution of SCAD events.
Minimum Requirements: Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Design, Art, or a related field or its equivalent, and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in an admissions, recruitment, career development, art, or a related occupation in higher education.
Position requires some experience with the following skills:
1. Salesforce software
2. Assisting with School Events, supporting staffed Information Tables
3. Public Speaking
4. Counseling prospective students and families
5. Understanding and application of FERPA law
