Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist [OES Specialist]

Salary: $65,000 $75,000 per year

A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to support its growing operations team. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can quickly learn new processes, analyze operational data, and independently manage supply chain and inventory-related priorities.

The position is primarily onsite at the companys Woodridge office, with occasional meetings at its nearby Lemont manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
Support daily supply chain, inventory control, and production-planning activities
Monitor inventory levels and help ensure materials are available when needed
Analyze inventory and operational data to identify issues and recommend solutions
Maintain accurate information within the companys ERP system
Use Excel to prepare reports, analyze trends, and support operational decisions
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve material or scheduling issues
Help improve inventory accuracy, workflow, and operational efficiency
Participate in occasional supplier audits and site visits

Qualifications
Experience in supply chain, inventory control, production planning, or a related operational role
Strong inventory-management and analytical skills
Experience using an ERP system
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and independent problem-solving ability
Able to adapt quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Automotive industry experience is not required

Travel
Occasional same-day travel to supplier locations
Possible overnight travel approximately one or two times per year
