Recover Well Prodomain is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at our rehabilitation facility located in Lake Dallas, Texas. Work Environment

The work environment at Recover Well Prodomain is collaborative and supportive, located in a state-of-the-art facility designed to foster healing and recovery. You will work closely with a team of health care professionals including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, allowing for a holistic approach to patient care. The facility is equipped with advanced therapy equipment and technology, enabling effective treatment and rehabilitation. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and functional abilities, utilizing standardized tests and assessment tools.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings that reflect each patient's specific needs, goals, and progress.
• Utilize a variety of treatment modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound, to facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Provide ongoing patient education to inform patients about correct body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention strategies.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, making modifications to treatment plans based on observed outcomes and therapeutic goals.
• Work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records, treatment interventions, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and facility policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population at Recover Well Prodomain includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions such as arthritis, back pain, and neurological disorders. You will engage with diverse age groups, from young adolescents to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. The focus is always on maximizing functional recovery and minimizing pain, with a strong emphasis on patient education to empower individuals to take an active role in their rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas.
• Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting is required, with a demonstrated ability to treat various orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation systems and electronic health records is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with additional clinical experience, especially in settings involving outpatient rehabilitation, sports therapy, or geriatrics, will be viewed favorably. Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques and modalities will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
