We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our exceptional team at Thera Viva Mobility in Arlington, Texas. In this full-time role, you will be integral to our mission of providing high-quality rehabilitation services. Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility and improving overall quality of life.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, where you will work directly with patients in their homes, addressing their unique rehabilitation needs. The role demands flexibility as you adapt to varied patient schedules and specific home environments. Our supportive clinic fosters teamwork, allowing for collaboration among therapists of different disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care. Working hours are generally Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional adjustments to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific requirements, focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, and functional abilities.


• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and movements, ensuring each patient feels supported and encouraged throughout their rehabilitation journey.


• Educate individuals on proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and create home exercise programs to complement in-therapy work.


• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, as part of comprehensive treatment plans.


• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in strength, range of motion, and overall functional capabilities.


• Prepare treatment areas before sessions, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and operational at all times.


• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate and optimize patient care effectively.


• Provide both emotional support and motivational encouragement to patients, cultivating a positive atmosphere that fosters trust and recovery.


• Maintain ethical standards, safeguarding patient confidentiality and adhering to professional guidelines at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass a diverse demographic, including young athletes recovering from sports injuries, elderly patients seeking to regain their independence, and pediatric clients requiring specialized interventions. Each patient presents unique challenges, and your expertise is fundamental in tailoring therapeutic approaches that align with their personal goals and medical histories.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.


• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas.


• Strong foundational knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation approaches.


• Proven ability to connect with patients and foster therapeutic relationships.


• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably in home care or outpatient rehabilitative environments.


• Experience working with a diverse patient population, including geriatric and pediatric cases.


• Proficiency in utilizing modern rehabilitation technologies and therapy equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
