Western Union powers your pursuitIn this role you will be responsible creating copy and content for agent and field training materials.

Role Responsibilities

Evaluate, conceptualize, and produce compelling copy and content.

Interact with other internal departments to formulate recommendations and actions.

Value content quality over quantity.

Raise the bar continually for writing fresh copy that connects with a desired audience and drives action.

Use Search Engine Optimization practices to optimize training material and increase visibility.

Conduct stakeholder management conversations to understand customer needs.

Examine current training material for opportunities to consolidate and simplify.

Contribute to ideation and execution of training strategies.

Manage translations needs.

Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging.

Monitor metrics related to our content, ex. training views and conversion rates.

Solid time-management skills.

Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.

Role Requirements

Three or more years of professional copywriting experience, with solid portfolio of work

Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline

Exceptional writing and research skills

Ability to evaluate situations quickly and act decisively.

Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Adaptability and flexibility.

Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines.

Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability

Stakeholder management skills.

Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design

Jira knowledge is a plus.

Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus.

Spanish proficiency is a plus

The on-target earnings range is $83,835 - $97,200 per year, which includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
