The AWS Security Engineer will leverage their comprehensive cloud expertise to support the implementation of AWS-centric security toolset to support the needs of our customer’s program.  This engineer will provide guidance and hands on experience in areas that can enhance security visibility in our customer’s AWS environment.



Assume a technical role in the development of infrastructure solutions that are deployed in our customer’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud regions.

Support the network & security team, offering core capabilities such as the development of tooling, workflow orchestration, and event-driven automation. 

Development of tooling or strategies with AWS CLI to deploy, troubleshoot and customize cloud resources.

Knowledge of AWS security and networking configurations, such as security groups, subnets, and routing tables.

Experience managing enterprise scale solutions that leverage the following AWS Services:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Guard Duty, Inspector, Systems Manager, Config, CloudFront, VPC security configuration.

Experience scripting in python or bash or comparable language.

Experience scripting against AWS CLI is a must.

Integrating 3rd party toolset and technologies into the AWS eco-system is a must.

Learn/Research new technologies.

Train IT department/staff.

Tier 3 debugging and debugging full-stack.



Skills:

• 5-7 Years in AWS Security.


• US citizen or permanent resident able to work under either W2 or 1099.


• Outstanding communication skills.


• AWS CLI (Command Line Interface ) is a must.


• AWS CLI is an Amazon Web Services tool that enables developers to control Amazon public cloud services by typing commands on a specified line.


• Experience managing enterprise scale solutions that leverage the following AWS Services:    (AWS) including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Guard Duty,


• Inspector, Systems Manager, Config, CloudFront, VPC security configuration.


• Experience scripting in python or bash or comparable language.
