Activities Coordinator
Salary:9.59 per hour
Location: Hitchin
Hours:16 hours per week

We are looking for a dynamic, outgoing and creative Activities Coordinator to join our amazing team in Hitchin.As our Activities Coordinator, you will be play vital role in our residents living to their fullest potential and flourishing in our brand-new home.
Duties * Developing and overseeing an active living programme for each resident, which supports mobility, social contact, independence and fun. * Collaborating with the nursing and senior staff to make an assessment of strengths and capabilities of each resident in regards to activities of daily living. * Ensuring that any risk assessments have been carried out prior to any new planned activity or event. * Devising simple and safe activities which encourage movement and maintain joint flexibility and functional use of hands and fingers in activities.

About you * Previous experience developing engaging and creative activity plans * Experience of working in care homes * Must have a clean drivers license * Must have a D1 entitlement on your drivers license or be willing to complete within the first 6 months as you will need to be able to use the homes vehicles including a minibus
